Drew and I came to Houston this weekend to start setting up our new home! I came up on Friday and did some SERIOUS unloading... I packed my car so tight that it took me 21 trips up and down the stairs to get everything inside. The sad part is I have sooo much more stuff to move from Corpus to here and I have to do it all before the wedding.
Great timing that my lease for my townhouse is up when we are on our honeymoon so I've got to move EVERYTHING except my bed and the guest bed in the guest room so that my parents and I will have a place to sleep during the week of the wedding. My parents (so sweet of them) are going to pack up the two beds the day after the wedding and turn in the keys.
So needless to say, I'm stressed, but not with wedding plans... moving my things! I can't believe what a pack-rat I've become. Oh well, now is a good time to start fresh & clean out! :)
But the most exciting news of all is that we are now 4 weeks away from the BIG DAY!!!!

Updates...
I haven't blogged in quite a while but I'll just sum everything up in pictures. But before I do, Drew and I are so excited that the wedding is now officially in 3 days ONE month away!! We have been having so much fun opening presents... I just LOVE that UPS man now... and celebrating our bachelor/bachelorette parties. Mine was last weekend and Drew's was this weekend. My girlfriends and I celebrated in Houston and we went all out with a limo, lingerie party, great food, and lots of fun! Drew and his buddies rented a house on Lake Travis and a pontoon boat and celebrated in Austin. We are so blessed to have our amazing friends that are supporting us and our future marriage. We love all of you.
Also, at the end of February we had another shower in Louisiana given by Drew's two Aunts and Uncle. We had so much fun celebrating and visiting Drew's family roots! All of his family is from Layfayette, Louisiana so it was so nice for my parents to finally visit, and to meet more of Drew's relatives before the big day. We had a yummy cajun dinner and did lots of sight seeing. And I bought lots of things for our house... I'm obsessed with Fluer De Lis' and have gone over-board buying things to decorate with. In Louisiana it's like seashells in Corpus and on the coast... they are EVERYWHERE! I guess it's nice that I love spicy food, tabasco, and french influences!
I also included pictures from my Hour-by-Hour shower that was held in February as well. I had explained that shower earlier in a post but this was a shower give to my Mom when she was getting married and the hosts re-arranged the poem and all of my guests were sent invitations with different hours of the day. Their gift was to reflect on that hour. So it started from rising from bed to going to sleep and everything in between. I received so many wonderful things and it was so much fun! Hopefully, I can carry on this tradition if I have a daughter and give her this shower one day.
Here are some fun pictures from events over the last month...Enjoy! :)

Tag, I'm it!
Okay so this picture was taken 3 summers ago at the Corpus Christi Girls' Cotillion Club Mother/Daughter Tea (whew! that was a long title). I was the President that year and was hosting this tea for the new members and their mother's to enjoy refreshments and learn about the upcoming philanthropy & fashion show as well as their Presentation Ball that was held in December. This picture is of myself and my 3 best friends, from left: Natalie Salinas, myself, Kristen Sparks, and Gina Dudics. I just LOVE this picture because of all the beautiful vibrant colors! I also kinda like my hair short, I'm contemplating cutting it after the wedding to shoot for a more sophisticated wife look, what do you think? Anyways, this picture brings back great memories of Girls' Cotillion!
