I haven't blogged in awhile since we haven't had anything exciting happen lately in the lives of the Dueitt Duo..
We are in the process of STILL looking for a house. We are going this Saturday to talk to a realtor in Sienna Plantation, which is where Cliff and Missy live. We love the location and the houses are beautiful. Drew and I both can really see us calling it home. Please pray that we find our dream house!
My Dad is doing great! After his heartattack scare everyone has wanted to know how he is doing. He went back to work this week and he is starting to slowly start excercising more. The doctor said he is so healthy now that if he wanted to he could run a marathon! Way to go Dad! God truely is faithful :)
I hope everyone has a HAPPY HALLOWEEN on Saturday!

God is Faithful!
Tuesday was an awful day...
It started off with a bad day at school which then led to me coming home in horrible traffic and rush to get Drew to the airport. He was leaving on Tuesday night for Buenos Aires with his Dad and several of his Dad's friends for their annual dove hunt in Cordova, Argentina. I was already emotional since I wouldn't get to talk to him for about 7 days and just the scary thoughts of him being out of the country (I'm a paranoid freak). So I take Drew to Bush Continental and as I'm driving away to go home, I get a phone call...
My sister had called to ask if I had talked to our Mom. She said, "Dad has had a heartattack and was rushed to the emergency room and he is now being transported from the New Braunfels hospital to Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio." I immedietly burst into tears and call my Mom. At that point we didn't really know what was going on other than he was mowing the yard earlier that day and started getting minor chest pains. My mom rushed home and since he wasn't in too much pain but the minor pain wasn't going away they decided to go to the emergency room. After several tests they couldn't find at this point anything wrong (they didn't know he had suffered a minor heartattack yet). But as precautionary, they decided to transport him to San Antonio since they could do a Heart Catherization Test on him to find out what exactly was causing the pains. I decided at that point to not stress until they did the test the next morning.
I went to school yesterday and my Mom called as I was driving to school and said that the test was going to take place at 8 a.m. and she would call me when he was out. At lunch she broke the news of what they had discovered... The main artery that goes to the upper and lower chambers of the heart was 99% blocked! He was on the verge of a massive heartattack if they hadn't of gone when they did. The lower two chambers were being starved of blood and were basically in "hibernation" mode. They went ahead and put a stint into the main artery to release all of the blockage. He is now in recovery and will come home tomorrow. Thankfully, the doctors were quick to act and he had the power of our Lord watching over him as well as many friends and family praying. What the scary thing was that he didn't have the normal major symptoms other than MINOR chest pains. He had just gone to have an annual check up at the doctor two weeks ago and they did a blood pressure, cholestrol test, and a stress test and all came back NEGATIVE and that he was HEALTHY! We asked the doctors, "What could we have done to prevent this? Was there anything that we weren't noticing before?" And the doctor simply said, "Unfortantely, your Dad is one of 350 million people that have a heartattack and the first symptom they have is when they drop dead, he is lucky he paid attention to those minor pains"
If you are reading this please continue to pray for my Dad, Keith Wyatt, and keep our family in your prayers. We know he is going to be okay and that he will have a safe recovery. Thank you everyone for your support, and most importantly thank you Jesus for your faithfulness, grace, and your watchful care over my Dad.
