More House Hunting and Date night

Please Lord, guide us to the right house!

Drew and I went this morning and looked at several more houses, we found 2 that we could potentially live in, but we aren't totally in love with them. I hope that we find something soon, I'm really ready to M-O-V-E!

Last night we had a date night with the Rye's. It was so much fun to get together and hang out with them. We really had missed them and it had been forever since the 4 of us had gotten together. We had a delicious dinner at Escalante's and then we headed over to Armadillo Palace to meet up with some more Corpus friends. It's times like these that I love having so many friends in Houston. Drew and I are so happy here!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead of them! That's all for now :)

Success :)

So today I was observed for the first time by my principal... that may not sound like a big deal to those of you are not in the teaching profession but it is one of the scariest moment's in a teacher's year. I drilled my students and reminded them of all the "right" things to do... and SUCCESS! They did amazing!! And I did too! Thank goodness I can relax for the rest of the year and continue to do what I do every day. Whew!

Drew's leaving this weekend for a bachelor party for one of his high school buddies. So that means... Lucy and I are having a girls weekend! It will be nice to get the tv to myself... Drew and I are still looking for houses. No new updates on that. We did however find 2 that we were interested in but they fell threw :( I'm hoping since we are celebrating our anniversary a month early (during spring break) that we can spend our REAL anniversary in our new house. That means we need to find something SOON! Please Lord, direct us to those houses!

Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and weekend! That's all for now :)

Anniversary Trip BOOKED!

I am sooo excited!!!!

Drew and I finally decided where we want to spend our 1st anniversary as Mr. and Mrs. Dueitt.... New York City!

I have never been and Drew has only been once when he was very little so it's exciting to start planning this together and go to a place that has so much to see. If anyone has been before and has any tips of where to go, please send me comments! I know the typical places but we really want to try to fit as much in as we can. Now, I need to start saving my $$ for some serious shopping :)

Christmas 2009 and a Happy New Year!

Well I've slacked on my blogging but here is update from our crazy Christmas' this year and from our New Year parties.

The weekend before Christmas, Drew and I headed to Fredericksburg to have Christmas with my family. Since my Dad is a minister (conflicts with his Christmas eve services at his church) and it's so hard now that our family has grown and we all have in-laws to visit we decided to do our Wyatt Christmas early. We had an amazing time with the whole family at our ranch. It is always so fun to see the joy and excitement in my niece and nephews when they open their presents. Here are some pictures from our Wyatt Christmas...

The Dueitt's (our first Christmas married!!)

After we got back from Fredericksburg, I had a few days to clean the apartment and pack for Corpus. We were having the "real" Christmas with the Dueitt's and we were planning on spending New Years in Corpus.... so that meant that I had to pack for A LONG time. We left the day before Christmas Eve and spent the entire break down in good ol' CC. I really do miss living there sometimes and it was fun to see ALL of our friends and spend some time with Drew's family. Codi and her boyfriend came in town and we had a great time spending time with them. We even went out to Drew's parents land that they are about to buy in Refugio! Here are some pictures from the Dueitt Christmas...

After we had a wonderful two Christmas's, we got ready to celebrate and bring in 2010!! We started off the night at my dear friend, Elise's house with all of my girlfriends and then we went over to one of Drew's friends, Mandy's house to end the night with his friends. We got to see our great friends, Sean and Teresa who recently got engaged! Congrats guys, we love you!! And we had a great time. Here are some pictures from our New Year's Celebration...

Well I'm already exhausted from even typing this long post... we just got back to Houston today and I start work tomorrow. It's going to be so hard going back after having 2 weeks off. So tomorrow it's back to the real world!
