ROYAL Obsessed!!

I don't know about all of you out there, but I am a little ROYAL obsessed! Maybe it's because I'm obsessed with weddings in general, maybe it's because I'm English, or maybe it's because I secretly wish I were going to be Princess Rebecca...
Regardless of any of those reasons... I've been GLUED to the tv all week. I've enjoyed DVRing any and all royal show, and you bet I'm going to be checking my phone all day tomorrow at school for a glimpse of Kate's dress.
Unfortunately, I have to watch the wedding after school, but just to keep you on your toes... I will be posting pictures tomorrow. My team and I are going ALL OUT: long white gloves, tiaras, pearls, and dresses. We will be arriving to work "in royal fashion".

Cheerio!

2 Years Ago... We said "I DO"

This past Monday, (April 25th), Drew and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. Drew surprised me with flowers and took me to a cute little italian restaraunt in Katy called 3 Olives. We are amazed at how fast time has flown by. It seems like yesterday we were saying our vows and pledging our love and life to one another in front of our family, friends, and our sweet Jesus Christ.

We said "I Do"...

It was the happiest day of my life! And it keeps getting better and better!
I thank the Lord for blessing my life with you, Drew. I cannot wait for another 50+ years celebrating our marriage and love to one another!
Happy 2 years love!

Easter 2011

Drew and I left Friday morning for New Braunfels to have a nice relaxing weekend with my parents. We've been so busy lately traveling and going to weddings :)
Once we got to New Braunfels, my Mom and I headed to go shopping around NB and Drew had the chance the chance to visit with his friend Andrew in San Antonio while my Dad had Good Friday services. Mom and I saw Water for Elephants Friday night. It was so good!
On Saturday Drew, Mom, Dad and I headed to Austin for more shopping. We went to a few antique malls and I found some great treasures :) Later that night we went to the youth service at my Dad's church and had dinner at the famous Mamacitas :) It's a favorite!
Finally, Sunday morning we picked up my Grandmother Wyatt and had a lovely church service officiated by my Dad and a delicious Easter lunch at my parent's house before hitting back on the road back to Katy.
What a great weekend we had! See you soon Mom & Dad!

Raise your Glasses to Mr. and Mrs. Jett Dueitt!

Two weekends ago on April 16th, Drew and I headed to Lafayette, Louisiana for his first cousin's wedding. Jett married his long time beautiful girlfriend, Angelle. Their ceremony and reception was held at the City Club in Lafayette. It was gorgeous!
It was also fun to catch up with the newlyweds, The Carrolls! Drew and I had so much fun dancing the night away with his crazy cajun cousins with Justin & Codi. Here are a few pictures from the evening!

Codi and Justin's wedding was April 2nd in Fort Worth, Texas. It was an exciting, beautiful and special weekend for our family. We welcomed Justin in style! We started the weekend off on Friday with the rehearsal at the Robert Carr Chapel on the TCU campus. My Dad was officiating the ceremony so it was extra special to have my parents with my Dueitt family all together.

Practicing their vows
After the rehearsal, the entire wedding party headed to Lonesome Dove for the rehearsal dinner. Lonesome Dove is a special place for Codi and Justin because they would celebrate Valentine's Day dinner there every year during college and after. It's located in the stockyards and it's amazing! Definitely a must if you're planning a trip to Fort Worth!

After the rehearsal dinner, we all went out for a little while in downtown Ft. Worth and the hit the sheets for the BIG wedding day!
Saturday morning was filled with lots of "to-do's" We had the bridal brunch first thing, hosted by Drew and Codi's aunts, Mitzi and Lana. It was so beautiful and a nice way to start the day. After brunch, all of the girls headed to Codi's suite to get hair and makeup done. The boys headed to a TCU game and Joe T. Garcia's for lunch with the groom's family.

The wedding was short, beautiful and Codi was breathtaking. My Dad did an AMAZING job officiating the ceremony. After the ceremony, we did group photos and then jumped on the bus and headed to the reception. It was hosted at The Modern Art Museum.... it was amazing!
