Today was a wonderful day!!
I woke up this morning to my sweet husband wishing me a happy birthday. When I got to school, I had a sonic diet coke waiting for me with 2 birthday cards from some sweet co-workers. Around 11 o'clock I got a call from the front office that there was a delivery for me... Drew had sent flowers! My kids sang me "happy birthday" all day long and wrote me letters and birthday cards. At lunch my team had surprised me with a chocolate ice cream reese's peanut butter cake from marble slab! It was mmm! mmm! good :) After school, I raced home to meet Drew and he had another surprise for me. It was a blue Tiffany's bag... inside the beautiful little blue box was a gorgeous heart necklace! He sure knows how to spoil a girl :) After presents we headed over to the Galleria to have dinner with Gina and Brian at The Cheesecake Factory. What a fantastic day and what sweet friends I have. I am so blessed!

Mother's Day 2010
It sure is hard to believe that a year ago on Mother's Day my sweet Drew gave me Lucy girl. It was such a memorable day and an amazing early birthday present!
Here is a picture from a year ago of our sweet girl. Wasn't she precious?

Look at her now!
The best part of our weekend was getting to celebrate Mother's Day in New Braunfels with my sweet Mom and Dad. It is always so special for Mom and I to spend Mother's Day together because almost 24 years ago (my birthday is Thursday!) I was born on Mother's Day.
Drew and I headed to NB late Friday. Saturday was spent shopping at the Quarry in San Antonio and then we all went to dinner Saturday night at Gruene River Grill. Sunday was spent going to church and then having a wonderful lunch with my parents, Drew, and my sweet Grandmother who is 99! We are in the process of planning her 100th birthday party in July. Here are some special pictures from the weekend. Hope all of you Mothers out there had a wonderful day, I know I did! My sweet Lucy gave me roses :)
