Hurry up TURKEY DAY!

So much has been going on in this past few weeks that I haven't had a chance to write it all down so here's a re-cap...

• Drew and I still are house-hunting...
• We have gotten to see Baby Brady twice now and we already love him so much!
• School is CRAZY right now but the kids and Mrs. Dueitt are counting down till Friday!
• I could not be more excited about having a week off and spending time with my family.
• Drew's Maw-Maw is doing well (she is going through chemo and radiation) so thank you God!
• Gina has been back in Houston a lot recently and it's been so nice to spend time with her.
• Brett came in town last weekend so Drew had fun hanging out with him and the boys.

Drew and I will be celebrating Thanksgiving in CC with my family this year. My parents are coming down from New Braunfels and my sister, Amy, is hosting it at her house. I'm so excited to spend some quality time with friends and family next week...and did I mention that I have the WHOLE week off?!

I just love being a teacher for many reasons but this is one that is close to topping it off (our time off!). I need it and I'm working SO hard this year. I know that they always say "the first year is the hardest" and now I completely understand what that phrase means... But I don't regret choosing this as my career and I have learned more in the past 3 months in the education field than I ever learned in college. I need to post some pictures of my kids from field day, they are really the cutest class ever.

Brady Matthew Pennington

Our good friends, Cliff and Missy Pennington, brought into the world their first child on Wednesday, November 4th. It is so exciting to have friends now that have a baby! We are thrilled for the Pennington family and we can't wait for the chance to watch Brady grow.

We visited the Pennington's last night in the hospital and Drew and I got the chance to finally meet the little guy. He is perfect in every way and has the best parents. :)

We love you Brady and we can't wait to hold you more!
